Σήμερα σκεφτόμουν το πρώτο ζωάκι που είχε η κόρη μου που το ονόμασε Λίλα. Φυσικά και δεν γνώριζε με το λογικό νου τι είναι Λιλα, μα η διάνοια της το έφερε μέσα ως γνώση. Λιλα / Līlā είναι το θεϊκό Παιχνίδι! Όμορφο χμμ; Συγκινητικό ναι; Και απλό συνάμα!
Η μνήμη της Λιλα και η σημασία της Līlā στη βεδική παράδοση μου έγινε το θεμέλιο για στοχασμό σε αυτή τη βαθιά αλήθεια του Ιερού & θεϊκό Παιχνιδιού χωρίς ταύτιση, προσκόλληση, σκοπό, αιτία, αφορμή, απλά ως εκδήλωση Ελευθερίας της Συνειδητότητας.
Είχα ταξίδι να διανύσω και ο στοχασμός άρχισε μέσα σε αυτή τη μετακίνηση μου από μια περιοχή σε άλλη έχοντας μπροστά μου γύρω στα 90 λεπτά δρόμο. Και η πρώτη ιδέα ήταν ότι βρίσκομαι σε μια φάση μετάβασης. Δηλαδή η διαδικασία μετακίνησης μου από το χώρο Α στο χώρο Β είναι η μεταβατική φάση που θα διένυα για να φτάσω στο προορισμό μου. Και αυτό συμβαίνει συνεχώς: μια μετάβαση από το σημείο Α στο σημείο Β είτε σε φυσικό, υλικό, ψυχολογικό, νοητικό, ή άλλο επίπεδο: περπατάμε από το ένα σημείο για να φτάσουμε σε ένα άλλο, σκεφτόμαστε και προγραμματίζουμε για να πετύχουμε από τη μία κατάσταση να πάμε σε μια άλλη, η μία ψυχολογική μας κατάσταση μας μεταφέρει στην άλλη, η μία σκέψη διαδέχεται την άλλη για να φτάσει στη τελική, κοκ. Αυτό δεν είναι όλη η ζωή μας; Η μετάβαση μας από το σημείο Α της γέννησης στο σημείο Β το θάνατο και στο ενδιάμεσο η μετάβαση μας ~ ο δρόμος ~ η διαδρομή μας.
Και όσο συνέβαινε αυτή η περισυλλογή / στοχασμός στη Līlā (θεϊκό παιχνίδι), παρατηρούσα τα αυτοκίνητα γύρω μου. Αλλα έτρεχαν με ιλιγγιώδη ταχύτητα, αλλά προχωρούσαν πολύ αργά, αλλά μέτρια, αλλά με μια σταθερότητα, άλλα με αστάθεια, κάποια άλλα δε σταματούσαν, κάποια σε ατύχημα, με αναμμένα φώτα, σε διάφορα χρώματα, σχήματα, δυναμική, μέγεθος… Όλα ανεξαιρέτως ήταν στη μετακίνηση / μετάβαση από ένα σημείο Α στο σημείο Β. Αυτή η διαδρομή, πορεία, δρόμος, μονοπάτι είναι η διάρκεια της ζωής μας…Η ζωή είναι η μεταβατική πορεία μας, που αν και ίσως ίδια άλλος φτάνει γρήγορα, άλλος αργά, άλλος κουρασμένος και άλλος ξεκούραστος, άλλος με ρεζέρβα γεμάτη και άλλος με άδεια, άλλος χάνεται και άλλος φτάνει μετά από ατύχημα, άλλου η διαδρομή μακρύτερη και αλλού κοντότερη, άλλου εύκολη και άλλου δύσκολη…μα όλοι σε αυτή τη διαδρομή μετάβασης.
Και εδώ ήρθε στη περισυλλογή ξανά η έννοια του θεϊκού παιχνιδιού, το μυστήριο που κρύβει αυτή η αρχή. Η Līlā είναι ο τρόπος που καλούμαστε να ζήσουμε αυτή τη μετάβαση, σαν ένα παιχνίδι χωρίς ατζέντα, χωρίς ταύτιση, χωρίς προσκόλληση, χωρίς αφορμή και αιτία…ένα παιχνίδι βαθείας Πνευματικής Ελευθερίας από το Φως της Συνειδητότητας προς το Φως της Συνειδητότητας.
Η ζωή και η ύπαρξη δεν είναι ένα βάρος, αλλά ένα παιχνίδι της συνείδησης, όπου ο καθένας μας καλείται να συμμετάσχει με ανοιχτή καρδιά και αποδοχή. Το σύμπαν δεν δημιουργείται από ανάγκη, αλλά από καθαρή ελευθερία.
Η Līlā είναι μια βαθιά έννοια στην Ταντρική παράδοση, που μεταφράζεται ως «θεϊκό παιχνίδι». Αντί να θεωρείται η δημιουργία του κόσμου ως μια πράξη με σκοπό ή ανάγκη, υποδηλώνει ότι το σύμπαν είναι μια αυθόρμητη, χαρούμενη έκφραση της θεϊκής Συνείδησης. Η ζωή είναι ένα συνεχές παιχνίδι αλλαγών και μεταμορφώσεων. Μέσα από την αυτογνωσία μπορούμε σταδιακά πιο εύκολα να τις αγκαλιάσουμε ως μέρος της θεϊκής ροής. Αποκολλημένοι από το εγώ, μπορούμε να δούμε τον εαυτό μας ως μέρος μιας μεγαλύτερης κοσμικής πραγματικότητας, με ευγνωμοσύνη, χαρά, εμπιστοσύνη, επιτρέποντας να παραδοθούμε στο παιχνιδιάρικο ρυθμό.
Όπως και στο Brahmasūtra στοίχο 2.1.33 λέει: «lokavat tu līlākaivalyam» «Όπως φαίνεται και στον κόσμο, η δημιουργία υπάρχει καθαρά για το θεϊκό παιχνίδι (Līlā).»
«Χαλάρωσε και επέτρεψε σε κάθε σκέψη να γλιστρήσει μακριά, σαν το νερό που κυλά χωρίς να ρωτά πού πάει. Είσαι ήδη μέσα στη Līlā ~ το θεϊκό παιχνίδι. Δεν χρειάζεται να την αναζητήσεις ~ σε περιβάλλει, σε κρατά απαλά, σε καλεί να παίξεις χωρίς σκοπό, χωρίς προσδοκίες.
Η δημιουργία δεν είναι υποχρέωση, είναι έκφραση. Όπως το φως χορεύει στα κύματα, όπως ο άνεμος τραγουδά μέσα στα δέντρα, έτσι και εσύ χορεύεις μέσα στο θεϊκό παιχνίδι. Δεν υπάρχει λάθος βήμα, δεν υπάρχει σωστός δρόμος. Υπάρχει μόνο το παιχνίδι.
Αφέσου στη χαρά της έκφρασης, στη μαγεία της στιγμής. Δημιούργησε, γέλα, κινήσου: είσαι μέρος της ίδιας της ύπαρξης που γιορτάζει τον εαυτό της. Η ζωή είναι ελεύθερη και είσαι μέρος της.
Εδώ δεν ψάχνεις να βρεις το νόημα ~ εσύ είσαι το νόημα και η διαδρομή ένα παιχνίδι Συνειδητότητας στο Φως.»

Today, I was thinking about the first pet my daughter ever had, which she named Līlā. Of course, she had no logical understanding of what Līlā meant, yet her deeper intuition brought it forth as knowledge. Līlā is the Divine Play. Beautiful, hmm? Moving, yes? And simple at the same time.
The memory of Līlā and its significance in the Vedic tradition became the foundation for my contemplation of this profound truth—the Sacred & Divine Play—without identification, attachment, purpose, cause, or reason. Simply as an expression of the Freedom of Consciousness.
I had a journey ahead, and my reflections began during my transition from one place to another, with about 90 minutes of road ahead of me. The first thought was that I was in a phase of transition—the process of moving from Place A to Place B was the transitional phase I had to pass through to reach my destination. And this is happening constantly: a movement from point A to point B—physically, materially, psychologically, mentally, or otherwise. We walk from one point to arrive at another; we think and plan to transition from one state to another; one psychological state carries us to another; one thought follows another to reach the final conclusion, and so on. Isn’t that the entirety of life? Our transition—from the point A of birth to the point B of death—and, in between, our path, our journey, our road.
As this reflection on Līlā, the Divine Play, unfolded, I observed the cars around me. Some sped past at dizzying speeds, others moved very slowly, some moderately, others steadily, some unstably, some never stopped, some were involved in accidents, some had lights on, each in different colors, shapes, dynamics, and sizes. And yet—all of them, without exception—were in motion, transitioning from one point A to point B. That journey, that road, that path is the duration of our life. Life is our transitional journey—some reach fast, some slow, some tired, some rested, some with a full tank, some running empty, some lost, some arriving after an accident, some taking a longer path, some a shorter one, some smooth, some rough—yet all are on this path of transition.
And then, Līlā, the Divine Play, resurfaced in my contemplation—the mystery embedded within this principle. Līlā is the way we are called to live this transition, as a play, without agenda, without identification, without attachment, without cause or reason—a play of deep Spiritual Freedom, from the Light of Consciousness toward the Light of Consciousness.
Life and existence are not burdens but rather a play of consciousness, where each of us is invited to participate with an open heart and acceptance. The universe is not created out of necessity, but out of pure freedom.
Līlā is a profound concept in Tantric tradition, translated as “Divine Play.” Instead of viewing the creation of the world as an act of purpose or necessity, it suggests that the universe is a spontaneous, joyful expression of Divine Consciousness. Life is a continuous play of changes and transformations. Through self-awareness, we gradually learn to embrace these transitions as part of the divine flow. Detached from the ego, we can perceive ourselves as part of a greater cosmic reality, with gratitude, joy, trust, allowing ourselves to surrender to the playful rhythm.
As the Brahmasūtra verse 2.1.33 states:
“lokavat tu līlākaivalyam” — “As seen in the world, creation exists purely for the Divine Play (Līlā).”
“Relax and let each thought slip away, like water that flows without asking where it goes. You are already within Līlā—the Divine Play. There is no need to seek it—it surrounds you, holds you gently, calls you to play, without purpose, without expectations.
Creation is not an obligation—it is expression. Just as light dances upon the waves, just as the wind sings through the trees, so too do you dance within the Divine Play. There is no wrong step, no correct path. There is only the play.
Surrender to the joy of expression, the magic of the moment. Create, laugh, move—you are part of existence itself, celebrating itself. Life is free, and you are part of it.
Here, you do not search for meaning—you are the meaning. And the journey—a play of Consciousness within the Light.”
